On July 23, 1996, ETA maimed with a car bomb the former cook of the police barracks in San Sebastián, Albino Alfredo Machado Pires, 35 years old and father of two children.

On May 3, 1984, ETA murdered mechanic Ángel Rodríguez Sánchez with two shots to the head. His body was found minutes after four in the afternoon on a path near the road leading to the town of Oyarzun. This is the testimony of Ángela, Ángel’s daughter.

On 8 May 1989, terrorist group ETA assassinated police officers José Montes Gila and Juan Antonio García Andrés in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) and wounded two others in a two-phase attack. Previously, they had a submachine gun officer, José Luis López Montenegro.
