On 22 August, AVT participated in the international webinar organised by the US-based Strength to Strength entitled ‘Stronger Together: Building Strength and Resilience in Unity’.

August 21, commemoration of the International Day of Commemoration and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, AVT attended the High Level Virtual Event convened by the Global Programme of Support for Victims of Terrorism of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center of the United Nations Office on Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT/UNCCT).

The Association Victims of Terrorism was present last Monday June 17 in Brussels at the launch of the new EU Knowledge Center on Prevention of Radicalization. Several sessions and round tables were held during the conference. 

As a member of the European project EUCVT (Centre of Expertise for Victims of Terrorism), AVT had the honour of participating on 23 April in a webinar entitled ‘The use of social networks after a terrorist attack: a useful information tool or a factor of additional victimisation?

On 19 March, the European Commission's Expert Centre for Victims of Terrorism (EUCVT), in collaboration with the AVT, organised a webinar entitled: The victim of terrorism before the Administration and the criminal process: Identification of possible causes of revictimisation and tools to deal with them.
