The objective of this platform is to promote among the Member States of the Union the opportunity to provide effective and quality assistance to the victims of terrorist attacks, especially in the psychological field and to propose forms of collaboration between institutions. This idea is particularly timely if we take into account the forthcoming publication of the Counter-Terrorism Directive and the treatment provided for the victims, as well as the transnationality component that has been inherent in the latest attacks.

The platform will provide information on institutions, organizations, associations and professionals responsible for assisting all victims and / or people affected by a terrorist attack in Europe. It will also contain specific information and offer specialized training for all those professionals who are dedicated to direct assistance to victims, specifically has created a psychological self-help guide after terrorist attacks. EPAVT is also an online meeting point where you can coordinate assistance requests and exchange information and knowledge between institutions and individuals.
