AVT at the UN High-Level Virtual Event

On August 21, commemoration of the International Day of Commemoration and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, AVT attended the High Level Virtual Event convened by the Global Programme of Support for Victims of Terrorism of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center of the United Nations Office on Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT/UNCCT).  During the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of all victims of terrorism, while a message was delivered by the Secretary-General, Under-Secretary-General Voronkov and the Co-Chairs of the Group of Friends of Victims of Terrorism. Two victims of terrorism also had the opportunity to tell their testimonies during the meeting.
